"Change your thoughts and you change your world," were words of wisdom spoken so eloquently by Norman Vincent Peale. I believe our thoughts, the manner in which we process our surroundings, have great impact on our emotions and are the root of our actions. It is my belief that the awareness of our thoughts and how we choose to process them can change the trajectory of our outcomes.
My experience includes working with patients with new and/or chronic medical diagnoses, working with women before, during, and after pregnancy, working with foster care, adoptions, birth mothers, and potential adoptive parents. I have experience with perinatal mental health, depression, anxiety, grief, couples counseling, and Christian counseling. I work with both the teenage and adult populations.
I am a Christian, an Education Specialist, a Board Certified Christian Life Coach, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in the states of Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio. I am a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. In addition to my licenses I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health and a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment facilitator. As an individual who has served in some form of helping profession for over 20 years, I do my best to use my experience to help you work towards your desired outcomes.
